In 2011, we set out to complete Pete’s bucket list of visiting all 50 states and 50 capitals. The list culminated after stopping in Juneau, AK on our cruise. After our first trip we were astounded by the vast beauty and seemingly limitless open space Alaska had to offer. We knew immediately this was the state we wanted to call home. I guess you could say Pete saved the best state for last!
