We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome you and are honored to be a part of your Alaskan adventure. As friends, neighbors, and supporters of Denali National Park, we strive to minimize our impact on the land and the environment.
In 2024, we have retrofitted and built each cabin to be 100% sustainable, providing off-grid accommodations with modern conveniences (hot water!).
We are proud to share that every cabin on our property relies 100% on solar power for electricity.
To further our efforts:
All staff has completed the basic Leave No Trace course and are familiar with the 7 principles: https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/
We offer electric vehicle charging stations on property to all guests traveling in an EV.
Our glacier fed well on property provides exceptional water to all guests. No need to buy or bring plastic bottled water.
Each season we re-seal the cabins to ensure maximum heat efficiency.
Our staff uses non-toxic, environment friendly cleaning products.
Below are some ways you can help reduce your impact while visiting the Denali area:
In 2015, Denali National park joined the Don’t Feed the Landfills Initiative in partnership with the Denali Education Center and Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture, with support from Subaru of America, the National Parks Conservation Association, and the Denali community. More information can be found here: https://www.nps.gov/dena/getinvolved/zero-landfill.htm
We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Leave No Trace Seven Principles. These guidelines are a great way to protect nature when you spend time on the trails and adventuring around Alaska.
